Our client is a market leader in their industry and due to continued growth, they are now needing to add to their ever growing team of Production Operators in central Christcurch. 

Various shifts for mornings; afternoons and nights are available - please note the factory operates 24/5 

All training is provided however if you have any form of construction experience this will be highly beneficial. As a production operator you will be a key part of the team responsible for the milling and finishing of pipes. 

About your new role:

• Operate finishing machinery to required standard
• Filling out appropriate paperwork accurately and on time
• Understanding the SOP and quality system backwards and share improvements.
• Undertake any other assigned tasks deemed necessary by management to benefit business outcomes
• Maintaining a clean, safe work environment with a strong focus on housekeeping practices

About you:

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Ability to follow a system and replicate it
• Good collaboration and communication skills
• Technical aptitude, solutions and results driven, attention to detail and quality focused
• Process driven and good eye for detail

As this is a busy manufacturing environment, all candidates will need to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. You will also need the legal right to work in NZ.
