We are looking for someone to join our Christchurch team as a Recruitment Consultant Support. If you have experience working in a similar role that would be a bonus, but this role would also be suitable for someone looking to take their first step into this fast paced, exciting industry. Role:

You will be a pivotal person in the Extrastaff office, working directly with the recruiting team in a role that provides huge variety and great experiences. You will be dealing with all incoming queries - both on the phone and in the office - from candidates looking for work to clients needing staff. You will manage our job advertising, screen applicants and book interviews, then internally market candidates to the consultants. You will also provide general support to the consultants carrying out vital tasks such as reference checking, general candidate care, booking training courses, managing outgoing PPE and much more. You will need to have very accurate data entry skills as you will be inputting a lot of important information into our system.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role you will be fast on your feet and able to deal with competing demands, prioritising and managing your time. The key to your success will be well developed communication skills, as you will be required to work closely with a wide range of people. You will definitely be a computer whizz, able to pick up new systems quickly and accurately.

Most importantly though we are looking for someone with the right attitude - a positive outlook, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and develop a career in recruitment.

This will be a full time role - Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm. Rostered on-call once every 6 weeks.
