Job Overview

As a Scaffold Foreman no two days are the same which means no two client projects are the same. Attention to detail and sound communication skills are critical for this role. As a Scaffold Foreman you must complete site visits, upsell our products and services and develop a working relationship with new and existing clients.  Complete weekly Sign Off’s, Monitor crews, jobs getting actioned on time

 

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Scaffold inspections are completed on a weekly basis and as required
    • Monitor the job, check that the scaffold is built correctly and to plan, and on time
    • When required fill in on the trucks
    • Motivate and manage crews
    • Respond promptly and professionally to all concerns and enquires the client may have
    • Any alterations or work requested on site has an order number and communicated back to operations
    • Ensure all clients are aware of all products and services that we can offer
    • Communicate with On-Site Safety Coordinator on project H&S requirements (JSA, SSSP)
  • You must ensure that you and all employees are wearing all required PPE at all times
  • Actively contribute to hazard identification and risk management
  • Liaise with General Manager and Managing Director on an ongoing basis in relation to the general day to day operations of the business and provide recommendations on ways to be more efficient and improved
  • Attend and complete all training courses as assigned
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications and Requirements

    • Successfully complete and pass mandatory drug testing
    • Successfully complete and pass mandatory police background check 
  • A New Zealand Certification in Scaffolding Level 3. Level 4 is an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the scaffolding industry
  • Must have HT class 2 Licence
  • First aid training is an asset
  • Must have a minimum of a New Zealand National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 3
  • Post-secondary education in Business Studies is an asset
  • Confident in using technology and software
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to complete any tasks that needs to be done
  • Excellent communicator with the ability maintain relationships with clients
  • A sense of urgency and excellent time management skills to set targets
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multitask various projects at once
  • Resilience with the ability to adapt well to a high pressured changeable environment
  • Passionate about delivering an empathetic highly professional customer experience

    Renumeration will include a base salary; time and a half on weekends and a work vehicle.
