Our first class client based in Rosedale has an exciting new role that they need to fill with an exceptional fabricator
Your tenacity; initiative and analytical thinkinng will be part of the key to your success.
Part of the role is included below however is not limited to the below:
- On site installation of all fabrication aspects
- Manufacture of items in workshop
- Use hand and power tools to shape, bend and create products
- Using various welding techniques to join components
- Helping junior fabricators when needed
- Finishing products to a high level through polishing, cleaning and chemical solutions
- Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiselling and grinding
- Assisting fabrications Manager with his/her tasks
- On site installation of all fabrication aspects
- Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
- Creating plans/ drawings using Auto-Cad
- Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, metal cutting machines and/or flame cutting torches
- Aligning parts to be joined using measuring tools and joining metal sections together using various welding techniques, including bolting and riveting
- Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision
