About the Role:
We are seeking experienced drain layers to join our dynamic team in Christchurch. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on role and is committed to delivering top-notch plumbing and drainage solutions on major projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage systems
- Working with blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
- Collaborating with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with New Zealand building codes and safety regulations
- Diagnosing and resolving drainage issues efficiently

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- At least 3 years of experience in drain laying and plumbing
- Strong understanding of New Zealand building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant certifications and licenses in drain laying
- Must have own transport to and from work
- Must be able to pass pre empoloyment drug test
