Extrastaff are chasing experienced Truck Drivers with experience and knowledge of the Christchurch and Canterbury area, as well as metro driving expertise.We have a number of roles available with several clients who are seeking the right people.

You must have a clean MOJ and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

What you will be doing:

• Operating in the metro area as well as regional
• Driving different classes of trucks dependent on client and job
• Operating under OH&S standards
• Heading to and from client's yards or devan locations

What you will bring to the table:

• NZ Residency or a valid Visa (with minimum 6 months remaining validity)
• Class 4 Licence and W,T,R endorsements with minimum 2 years' experience
• Based in Christchurch or surrounds - only those already local will be considered, unless there are exceptional circumstances
• Excellent communication skills
• Good level of physical fitness
• Awareness of health and safety
• Can pass a pre-employment Drug Screening test
• A sense of humour never goes amiss
