Extrastaff are chasing a few eager, hardworking labourers for a client based in Christchurch. The right person will be reliable, able to work full 8 hour days, and motivated to earn while operating as a team player.

You must have a clean MOJ and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. 

You must also have a current Site Safe, EWP and WAH to be considered for this role.

What you will be doing:

• Working across different sectors as a general labourer/dogsbody
• Physically lifting materials around site for some roles
• Working as part of a team on various construction, civil, and production projects
• Operating under OH&S standards with safety at the forefront

What you will bring to the table:

• NZ Residency or a valid Visa (with minimum 6 months remaining validity)
• Current Site Safe
• Current Elevated Work Platform
• Current Working at Heights
• Eager to get stuck in and reliable - will you show up every morning?
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, with the versatility to work where required
• Excellent communication skills
• Good level of physical fitness
• Awareness of health and safety
• Can pass a pre-employment Drug Screening test
• A sense of humour never goes amiss
