About the Role:
We are looking for skilled and experienced Qualified Builders with an LBP (Licensed Building Practitioner) certification to join our team in Auckland. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in residential construction and a proven track record in recladding projects. This role is perfect for builders who are detail-oriented, dedicated to quality craftsmanship, and looking to work on a variety of projects in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out all aspects of residential construction, including framing, finishing, and structural work.
- Lead recladding projects, ensuring that all work meets New Zealand Building Code standards.
- Read and interpret architectural plans and specifications to execute precise building work.
- Perform demolition, removal, and replacement of cladding materials safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Ensure all building work is compliant with relevant regulations and codes.
- Uphold health and safety standards on-site, including the use of appropriate PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
- LBP (Licensed Building Practitioner) certification in Carpentry.
- Proven experience in residential construction and recladding projects.
- Strong understanding of New Zealand Building Code and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Competent in using a range of tools and equipment associated with building and recladding work.
- Full NZ driver's license.
