Extrastaff are chasing a competent and hardworking Driller for a client who has on-going work around the city in the civil infrastructure space doing horizontal drilling. It's work hard, play hard but with a supportive team around you alongside down-to-earth management.

The right person will be reliable, able to work full 8 hour days, and motivated to earn while operating as a team player.

You'll need to be physically fit, able to graft and put in the work, with the ability to run a crew.

You must have a clean MOJ and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

What you will be doing:

• Installation of civil drainage and water, while leading the drill crew
• Horizontal drilling
• Working as part of a close-knit, rough and ready team of skilled men
• Operating under OH&S standards with safety at the forefront

What you will bring to the table:

• NZ Residency or a valid Visa (with minimum 6 months remaining validity)
• MUST have experience as a driller
• Excellent communication skills
• Awareness of health and safety
• Can pass a pre-employment Drug Screening test
• A sense of humour never goes amiss
