Extrastaff are chasing experienced Truck Drivers with experience and knowledge of the Chirstchurch area, as well as metro driving expertise.We have a number of roles available with several clients who are seeking the right people.

For this role, you MUST have experience in backing and jack-knifing full trailers. Experience driving off road and spreading is a bonus.

You must have a clean police check and be able to pass a pre-employment drug
test.

• What you will be doing:
•  Operating in the metro area as well as regional
•  Driving different classes of trucks dependant on client and job
•  Operating under OH&S standards
•  Heading to and from quarries
  
  What you will bring to the table:
   
•  NZ Citizenship or NZ Residency
• Class 5 Licence with minimum 2 years experience
•  Clean driving record
•  Based in Christchurch or surrounds - only those already local will be
• considered, unless there are exceptional circumstances
•  Excellent communication skills
• Good level of physical fitness
• Awareness of health and safety
• Can pass a pre-employment Drug Screening test
• A sense of humour never goes amiss
