Extrastaff are chasing experienced Truck Drivers with experience and knowledge of the Christchurch area, as well as metro driving expertise. We have numbers of roles available with several clients who are seeking the right people.

Road ranger experience is essential for these roles.

For our clients, you MUST have experience in backing and jacking-knifing full trailers experience driving off road and spreading is a bonus.

You must have a clean police check and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

What you will be doing:

• Operating in the metro area as well as regional
• Driving different classes of trucks dependent on client and job
• Operating under OH & S standards
• Heading to and from queries 

What you will bring to the table:

• NZ Citizenship or NZ Residency 
• Road ranger experience
• Class 5 license with minimum 2 year's experience
• Clean driving record
• Based in Christchurch or surrounds - only those already local will be considered, unless there are exceptional circumstances
• Excellent communication skills
• Good level of physical fitness
• Awareness of health and safety
• Can pass a pre-employment Drug Screening test
• A sense of humour never goes amiss
